Building a human rights culture in Scotland: audience insights research
In 2017, to inform our own work, and to provide insights for other organisations working to advance human rights, the Commission contracted research specialists YouGov Plc to get a better understanding of the current knowledge and attitudes towards human rights among people in Scotland. The findings demonstrate strong support for human rights in Scotland, but also areas where more work is required to build understanding and support for human rights. This report summarises the findings.

Tender: Research project to inform the Commission’s submission to the Committee on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)
The Scottish Human Rights Commission (the Commission) invites interested parties to submit an application to undertake a short piece of research to inform the Commission’s submission to Committee on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women as part of the periodic review of the United Kingdom. The Commission intends to submit shadow reports for both the pre-session, taking place in July 2018, and for the full review which will be held in February 2019. The research will support the development of both these reports.
