In response to the UK Supreme Court’s ruling on the case, For Women Scotland Ltd v The Scottish Ministers

A spokesperson for the Scottish Human Rights Commission said:

“The Commission has previously highlighted the lack of clarity around legal, policy, and practice matters in respect of women's rights and the implications of this on the human rights of women and transgender people."

“We will now take time to consider the Supreme Court’s judgment and the implications of this ruling.”
