Help us shape our next Strategic Plan
The Scottish Human Rights Commission is developing its Strategic Plan for 2016-2020. To help us set our priorities and improve how we work, we would like to hear from people and organisations from across Scotland’s diverse communities.
This consultation document describes the Commission, its powers and duties, and some of the main work we have done since 2008. It sets out three questions to help guide our next Strategic Plan. The consultation document is also available as an easy read document as a PDF, or as a word document.
The closing date for comments is 20 November 2015.
We are also hosting a series of consultation events across Scotland in Aberdeen, Galashiels, Clydebank, and Shetland.
At the events we will discuss:
- the Commission’s role and powers;
- what we have achieved so far, including progress on Scotland’s National Action Plan on Human Rights;
- what the focus of the Commission’s future work should be.
If you are interested in attending, please register using the links above, or alternatively you can call the Commission office on 0131 240 2989. If you have any questions about the consultation or the events, please email hello@scottishhumanrights.com.
