Commission is hiring a new Head of Strategy and Legal

The Commission today is beginning recruitment for a new Head of Strategy and Legal.

We’re Scotland’s national human rights institution. Independent and authoritative in our legal and policy analysis, collaborative and proactive in our approach to improving outcomes for people, we are proud of what we’ve achieved since we began working in 2008.

The Head of Strategy and Legal post offers an experienced, knowledgeable and skilled human rights professional the exciting prospect of taking the promotion and protection of human rights in Scotland to the next level. This will involve providing support and direction to a small team of human rights legal, research and policy experts, building and deepening strategic relationships with civil society, government and public sector partners, engaging at a senior level nationally and with peers in the international human rights system and playing a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Commission. ​
