Justice
Justice
Many human rights are affected by the justice system including the right to a fair trial, the right to an effective remedy, the rights of victims and witnesses in legal proceedings, access to legal advice and legal aid. Access to justice is also an important human rights issue, particularly for disabled people, victims of domestic abuse and violence, asylum seekers and people with mental health problems.
There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.
Elie Wiesel
