Other Commissions
The Scottish Human Rights Commission is one of over 80 national human rights instititions around the world. The other Commissions are grouped by region, and the International Coordinating Committee for the Promotion and Protection of National Human Rights Institutions (ICC) is the overseeing body for accreditation.
The Commission has been pleased to welcome representatives from a number of Commissions to Scotland in the past including Great Britain, Ireland, Malaysia, Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, and South Africa.
