Members of the Commission meet regularly to set the strategic direction of the Commission and oversee delivery of its Strategic and Operational Plans. Commissioners are also accountable for ensuring effective and efficient use of Commission resources in delivering the Strategic Plan.

Operational and financial decisions are delegated to the executive team through an Operational Scheme of Delegation and a Financial Scheme of Delegation.

The Commission is supported internally in its function by an Audit and Risk Committee, which operates under Terms of Reference. The Commission is audited externally each year.
